The City of Somerville will be placing 22 purple flags on the front lawn of City Hall to represent the 22 Somerville residents who passed away from an opioid-related overdose in 2022. The City will also be hosting three Narcan Distribution Events to provide residents with FREE overdose prevention training and harm reduction materials including Narcan, Fentanyl test strips, CPR face shields, and syringe disposal containers.
