SADOD stands with people across Massachusetts who are grieving the death of a loved one, someone you supported, or someone in your community due to a substance-related cause. We are here to meet you, peer to peer, wherever you are on your grief journey.
SADOD serves three audiences that overlap
The public -
bereaved family and friends
People with a history of drug use –
from those for whom recovery means abstinence to those who are receiving harm-reduction services
Direct Service Providers -
those who deliver services to people who are at high risk of dying from substance use
