Leslie Lagos is the director of The Sun Will Rise Foundation (TSWR), SADOD's partner in delivering grief support in Massachusetts, where she oversees the expansion of in-person and virtual peer grief support meetings. Leslie's recent work as Associate Director of One Life at a Time in Braintree bringing career training to people in recovery is just one example of her experience, which ranges from corporate training to helping the unemployed and economically disadvantaged gain confidence and skills to re-enter the workforce. She now facilitates the TSWR Peer Grief Support Group for Those in Recovery and is a SADOD Peer Grief Ally. She is also on the Committee for the Finding Connections in Grief Conference 2023. Leslie founded the Timothy Patrick Morrissey (TPM) Memorial Fund in honor of her brother, who died from an overdose in 2013. She is a person in long-term recovery.
