Hope Floats - LGBTQ Partner/Spouse Bereavement Support Group

It’s not unusual for grievers to feel disconnected from the world around them, but for LGBTQ grief and loss, a lack of disconnect can result in increased seclusion and isolation. While the issues faced in grief can vary for everyone, what every griever needs is a sense of validation, acceptance, and support. This group is designed to focus not only on the importance of support, but of finding the RIGHT support. Connecting with others who understand who we are and where we've been can help heal the pain of loss. The group is open to any lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender individuals who have experienced the loss of a partner/spouse.

Registration is required for all support groups prior to attending the first group meeting. To register for one of our support groups, please call our Intake Coordinator, Ava, at 781-585-4221, Ext. 108. To inquire about services at our agency or for support with any questions, please email [email protected]. Please note that we are not a 24/7 crisis response team, but we can provide scheduled responses to schools and organizations.
