Walpole: Stakes Are High

“The Stakes Are High” is a powerful awareness event hosted by Turning Point to honor those who have died from an overdose. A sea of multi-colored flags—each representing a life lost in Massachusetts over the past ten years—will line the grounds. This striking display is meant to catch the attention of passersby, serving as a sobering reminder of the overdose crisis.
This year, we are moving The Stakes Are High from Foxboro to Turning Point in Walpole. The flags will be displayed in the grassy area in front of Turning Point and United Church, pending final coordination with the church.
If you have lost a loved one to overdose, we encourage you to join us. You are invited to write their name on a flag and place it in the section representing the year they were lost. Together, we remember, we honor, and we break the silence to help end the stigma of addiction.
