Grief Support Group Directory

This directory lists a variety of grief support groups in Massachusetts. It includes groups exclusively for people bereaved by a death from substance use, which are indicated by a purple heart icon. Most of the groups are facilitated by peer helpers (bereaved people who help others).

Due to COVID-19 most groups are currently not holding a physical meeting. Please Search below for groups offering virtual meetings.

Entry Map

We are a group of Moms and Dads (or parent figures) who have lost their child under any circumstances, even women who have had the loss of a baby via miscarriage. A soul is a soul. We meet every Tuesday at 7 pm via zoom to share our loved ones, our lives and our strengths, and our challenges. It is an open meeting, with open discussions. There is usually a subject we discuss from the week before to be able to reflect on. Each week we leave with positive reinforcement from each other that we are not alone. We can walk forward each day to a good life, a different life, but still a very healthy life with our loved ones still near to our hearts. You do not have to be alone…….ever!
